Good Year Welted Black Derby Shoes JOSEPHT 105 BLACK

DESCRIPTION

Introducing the JOSEPHT 105, our 5th Goodyear welted release—designed for those who appreciate timeless craftsmanship, functional elegance, and everyday versatility.

Crafted using the highly respected Goodyear welt construction method, each pair undergoes over 100 individual steps, ensuring structural integrity, durability, and long-term wear. This method is widely recognized for minimizing deformation over time and offering unmatched quality—making the JOSEPHT 105 not just a shoe, but a lasting investment.

Inspired by the sleek, understated design of classic U.S. Navy service shoes, the JOSEPHT 105 blends military heritage with modern refinement. Its versatile silhouette pairs effortlessly with workwear, casual ensembles, and smart-casual outfits, making it a staple for any well-rounded wardrobe.

The upper is made from premium Box Calf leather by Weinheimer of Germany, one of the most prestigious tanneries in the world. This leather is known for its durability, luxurious finish, and ability to age beautifully over time. The lining is crafted from thick, high-grade leather, traditionally used for outer uppers, adding to the shoe's structure and durability.

For the outsole, we’ve chosen oak bark tanned leather, enhanced with a Vibram rubber layer—combining classic aesthetics with modern functionality. The Vibram addition offers non-slip performance, ideal for varied surfaces and all-day wear.

Comfort & Durability

Constructed through the time-tested Goodyear welt method, the JOSEPHT 105 provides long-term durability with easy resoling potential. The thick leather lining offers structural support and comfort, ideal for extended wear in daily or professional settings.

Sustainably Crafted

The Box Calf leather from Weinheimer is responsibly produced, known for its longevity and ability to develop a rich patina over time—minimizing waste and extending the lifecycle of the shoe. The use of oak bark tanned leather also reflects traditional, environmentally mindful tanning methods that preserve natural materials and craftsmanship.

Breathable & Supportive

Natural full-grain leather ensures excellent breathability, keeping your feet dry and comfortable throughout the day. The interior structure supports the foot with every step, while the smooth leather molds naturally to your foot over time for a personalized fit.

Grip & Longevity

The oak bark leather outsole, enhanced with a Vibram rubber insert, offers outstanding traction and slip-resistance—without compromising the classic leather sole aesthetic. This combination ensures lasting wear and performance across a variety of surfaces, indoors or out.
