Privacy Policy — Josepht QuickBooks Integration
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Josepht QuickBooks Integration (the
"Application"), a private internal tool of Josepht Global Brands Ltd.
(the "Company"), handles information. The Application is used only by the
Company and its authorized personnel and agents. It has no public or
external users.
Information the Application accesses
Through Intuit's official QuickBooks Online APIs, and only with the
Company's authorization, the Application accesses the Company's own
accounting data, which may include:
- Company information and chart of accounts
- Transactions, journal entries, invoices, bills, and payments
- Customer and vendor names and contact details stored in QuickBooks
- Financial reports (e.g., profit and loss, balance sheet)
How the information is used
Information is used solely for the Company's internal bookkeeping,
financial reporting, and business analysis. It is processed on the
Company's behalf by its authorized AI assistant service (Muse, provided
by Meta) to produce internal reports and answers at the Company's
direction.
Sharing
- The Company does not sell personal information.
- Information is not shared with third parties for marketing.
- Information passes only between Intuit (QuickBooks Online), the
Application, and the Company's authorized AI assistant service, as
needed to operate the integration.
Retention and deletion
Accounting records are retained in QuickBooks Online in accordance with
the Company's legal and tax obligations. Access tokens for the
integration are stored in an encrypted credential vault and are deleted
when the integration is disconnected; the Company can revoke the
Application's access at any time from within QuickBooks Online or the
Intuit developer portal.
Security
Access uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. The Application's
client credentials are stored in an encrypted vault and are never
published or shared. Access to the Application is limited to the
Company's authorized personnel and agents.
Your rights
Because the Application processes the Company's own business records and
data the Company itself controls, requests regarding personal information
contained in those records (access, correction, deletion) can be directed
to the Company at the contact below and will be handled in accordance
with applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC PIPA).
