The upper is crafted from genuine Chromexcel (CXL) cowhide leather by Horween Leather Company, renowned for its supple feel, rich appearance, durability, and distinctive aging characteristics. With regular wear, the leather naturally develops depth, character, and a unique patina, making each pair increasingly personal over time.

DOUBLE STITCHDOWN CONSTRUCTION

The MARK BLACK is constructed using the traditional Double Stitchdown method, a demanding construction technique known for its durability, stability, and heritage character.

The upper and leather midsole are first stitched together as the initial stage of construction. The midsole and outsole are then stitched together again, creating a double-layered stitched structure that provides excellent structural integrity and resistance to twisting and deformation.

Double Stitchdown construction requires a high level of craftsmanship and is considered a more demanding construction method than traditional Goodyear Welted construction.

This traditional construction not only contributes to the boot's durability but also gives the MARK BLACK its distinctive, substantial heritage profile.

HORWEEN CHROMEXCEL LEATHER

The MARK BLACK uses Chromexcel (CXL) Full grain cowhide leather from Horween Leather Company in the USA.

Chromexcel is a distinctive double-tanned leather that undergoes both chrome tanning and vegetable re-tanning. This process gives the leather its characteristic combination of softness, flexibility, durability, and rich depth of color.

The leather is also known for its natural pull-up effect. As the upper flexes and moves during wear, subtle changes in tone and texture appear across the surface.

Natural creasing, tonal variation, and changes in appearance are inherent characteristics of genuine Chromexcel leather. Rather than being imperfections, these details contribute to the individual character of each pair.

Most of our products ship directly from South Korea. Delivery usually takes around 2 weeks, including handling and international shipping.

Order status explained:

• Unfulfilled: Your order may be waiting for restock or is being prepared (usually within 2–4 days).
• Fulfilled: Your order has shipped from Korea. Tracking may show “label created” at first, but it’s already on the way. Once the local courier receives it, tracking updates will begin.

For US, Canada, Australia Customers (Effective from July 2026)

• We offer free shipping and a one-time free-size exchange for orders over $100 within the contiguous US and Canada.
• If the size isn’t right, you can exchange your unworn items for free within 20 days of receipt.
• Remorse Returns: For a simple remorse return, there is a USD 45 return fee.

Please note: If a US customer uses the one-time free exchange and later decides to return the exchanged pair, they will be charged both the original return fee and an additional shipping fee for the return.

• A shipping fee applies to international orders.

To be accepted for an exchange or return, please ensure that:

• Your shoes are undamaged and unworn, in resellable condition (i.e., no creases or wear on the soles), and in their original packaging.
