This product is crafted from cowhide leather sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery in Italy, adhering to the strictest environmental criteria.

📐 SIZE & FIT GUIDE

⚠️ Important: MARO runs large compared to most Western sneaker brands.
We strongly recommend sizing down one full size from your usual sneaker size.

Example: If you normally wear US 9 in sneakers → order US 8 in MARO.

Fit Notes — Chelsea Boot Specific

• Ankle fit: Chelsea boots rely on elastic side panels for entry — the fit should feel snug at the ankle. If the ankle gap is too wide, the boot will slip at the heel.
• Toe box: MARO features a square, non-slim toe box. There is intentional room at the toe — this is by design, not a sizing issue.
• Instep & width: MARO is built on a medium-width last. If you have wide feet, you may find the fit comfortable as-is; narrow feet may feel slight movement inside the boot.
• Break-in period: Burnished cowhide leather will soften and conform to your foot shape after 3–5 wears. Initial tightness around the ankle is normal.

Sizing FAQ

Q: I usually wear US 9 in Nike/Adidas. What size should I order?
A: Order US 8. MARO runs approximately one full size larger than athletic sneakers.

Q: I'm between sizes — should I size up or down?
A: Size down. The leather will stretch and mold to your foot after a few wears. Sizing up risks heel slippage, which is especially noticeable in Chelsea boots.

Q: The toe box feels roomy — is that normal?
A: Yes. MARO has a square, structured toe box by design. Extra room at the toe is intentional and does not affect the overall fit or support.

Q: I have wide feet. Will MARO fit me?
A: MARO is built on a medium-width last and tends to accommodate wider feet well due to the non-slim silhouette. If you're unsure, feel free to DM us or email before ordering.

FREE SHIPPING (US & CANADA)

Most of our products ship directly from South Korea. Delivery usually takes around 2 weeks, including handling and international shipping.

Order status explained:

• Unfulfilled: Your order may be waiting for restock or is being prepared (usually within 2–4 days).
• Fulfilled: Your order has shipped from Korea. Tracking may show "label created" at first, but it's already on the way. Once the local courier receives it, tracking updates will begin.

Pre-orders: We restock every 1–2 months, not once a year. Feel free to check with our team for the estimated shipping date.

For US & Canada Customers (Effective from 23th Oct 2024):

• We offer free shipping and a one-time free-size exchange for orders over $100 within the contiguous US and Canada.
• If the size isn't right, you can exchange your unworn items for free within 20 days of receipt.
• Remorse Returns: For a simple remorse return, there is a USD 45 return fee.

Please note: If a US customer uses the one-time free exchange and later decides to return the exchanged pair, they will be charged both the original return fee and an additional shipping fee for the return.

For International Customers (Rest of the World):

• A shipping fee applies to international orders.
• Exchanges: Customers are responsible for both the return shipping and the shipping fee for the new pair.
• Remorse Returns: For a simple remorse return, a return fee will apply.

Please note: For EU customers, VAT and additional import fees may apply, as required by local authorities.

To be accepted for an exchange or return, please ensure that:

• Your shoes are undamaged and unworn, in resellable condition (i.e., no creases or wear on the soles), and in their original packaging.
• Your return request is submitted within 20 days of receiving your original order.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria.
